Expense Splitting
Dividing shared expenses among co-owners — equally, by usage, or with custom shares.
Expense splitting is the process of dividing shared costs among everyone who shares a property. It's often the most common source of conflicts in co-ownership.
Three models
- Equal split: Everyone pays the same amount, regardless of usage
- Usage-based: You pay according to how much you use the property
- Custom: Each expense is divided manually by agreement
